Hi, my name is Bernadette. I'm a Transformation and Transition Career Coach.

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, but I serve people around the globe.

I’m here to partner with you.

Most people come to me because they’ve started to lose trust in themselves, and it’s harder to know what direction actually fits who they’re becoming.

They’ve been trying to figure it out for a while. Thinking harder, talking it through with friends, family, ChatGPT, and even other coaches… and nothing really changes.

They’re capable. Driven. Self-aware. Responsible.

Just not fully aligned anymore.

There’s usually a quiet sense of:

“There has to be a different way to live and work than this.”

That’s where we begin.

I’m originally from California and now based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m married to Shane, my best friend, and I spend a lot of my life outdoors, climbing, biking, and moving through the mountains and desert landscapes that keep me grounded and clear.

The people close to me would describe me as a deep listener. I tend to ask the questions others don’t, and I value conversations that go beneath the surface quickly, but without forcing anything.

Before coaching, I spent over two decades working as a commercial photographer in a male-dominated maritime industry while running my own business. From the outside, I looked successful. But internally, my idea of success was changing, and I was navigating the same things I now help my clients move through: alignment, direction, what actually feels true, and taking steps forward.

I didn’t come to this work because everything was figured out. I came to it because I had a career that looked good on paper, but left me feeling anxious all the time, overwhelmed, and disconnected.

Over time, I realized I knew how to produce, perform, and keep things moving, but the strategies that used to work stopped creating clarity and movement forward. They just created noise and lacked the fulfilment I knew inside I wanted.

That’s what led me into coaching.

And it’s what I now see in my clients: capable, self-aware people who have tried to think their way into clarity through reflection, advice, and even AI, but still feel stuck, because clarity alone doesn’t lead to change, and it isn’t something you force through more input. It’s something you return to when you slow down enough to hear yourself again.

I coach because this work is aligned with how I want to live and contribute. Not from a place of putting myself last, but from a belief that doing meaningful, grounded work allows me to support others in doing the same.

This is work that feels honest, sustainable, and real. 🤎

“Bernadette's coaching has helped me so much in finding purpose and fulfillment in my work… Together, we identified root causes of certain behaviors that distracted me from my work, and how to overcome them. She helped me rebuild my confidence so that I can approach each work day more motivated, more disciplined, and excited to take on bigger challenges. I would recommend Bernadette to anyone who is looking for a coach/partner to support them in their career growth!”
